RoadSafetyBC is the lead provincial agency for road safety and is responsible for setting strategic direction and establishing a provincial approach to road safety throughout British Columbia. RoadSafetyBC regulates drivers and operates a number of programs to help regulate the safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles in B.C.

The purpose of this position is to administer intake services for the program, including supervision of staff, development and implementation of operational program policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in a related field such as Public Administration AND one (1) year of recent (within the last 5 years) experience leading a team, which must include the assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in an IM/IT system environment that requires high attention to detail while managing shifting priorities.
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and/or policies.
     

Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in a related field such as Public Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years or more recent (within the last 5 years) experience leading a team, which must include the assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave.
     

Proviso / Willingness Statement:

  • This position requires the successful candidate to work over the weekend as the shift is Tuesday to Saturday.
