This posting is for establishing an eligibility list for future permanent and/or temporary appointments.
Currently there is 1 temporary appointment which may become permanent.
This position will be required to be located in Victoria.

This is a developmental position where the successful applicant may be under-implemented.

Supporting the Ministries of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and Social Development and Poverty Reduction (SDPR), the Information Services Division (ISD) provides strong information management and information technology (IM/IT) resource planning, decision making, project and issues management, security and privacy functions and desktop support. The division manages the Social Sectors $60 million dollar annual IM/IT operating budget, the Social Sectors capital IM/IT portfolio totaling approximately $200 million as well as funding for IM/IT projects that are completed outside of ISD’s annual budget.

The Alliance Management Office (AMO) oversees the administration and management of the Social Sector’s Information Technology contractual agreements. 

The purpose of this position is to manage the business administration aspects of the AMOs activities including tracking approvals, writing and issuing vendor statements of work and change requests, monitoring purchase orders.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree, diploma, designation or equivalent in related field (i.e. procurement and contract management learning and development, risk management or law).
  • 1 year or more experience overseeing business administration processes such as tracking approvals, maintaining up to date reporting etc.
  • 6 months or more experience reading and interpreting contract language.
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have Public sector procurement experience.
  • Preference may be given to applications who have experience using Excel and Power BI
