Overview of the opportunity: Regions East (all of Ontario, except Toronto, and the Atlantic provinces) is looking for a Senior Recruiter for an 18 month contract.

Our Senior Recruiters are equipped with solid technical acumen and the ability to work independently, while remaining solution oriented in providing a strategic approach to recruiting the very best technical talent.

A strong ability to develop relationships internally in a complex matrix environment coupled with an unwavering commitment to a best-in-class candidate experience are keys to success.

Working with the Talent Attraction Lead, the Senior Recruiter will be actively engaged in the growth of our service lines as we expand our position in the Canadian marketplace.

We foster creative and innovative approaches to talent attraction, candidate engagement, employer branding and diversity and inclusion with everyone on our team contributing to our success and evolution.

The successful candidate for this role will be passionate about people and curious about how they thrive and grow in their workplace, their careers and their lives.

What you will do Full cycle recruitment Develop comprehensive talent maps and pipelines, via best in class direct sourcing and candidate generation techniques incorporating an inclusive and diverse approach Actively network and nurture long-term relationships with prospective talent Take a consultative approach with the business throughout the search process and provide consistent communication and incredible client service Develop prospects into candidates, engaging them and assessing them while providing an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience Participate in debriefs and presenting/negotiating employment offers on behalf of leaders Coach hiring managers to continuously improve their talent acquisition capabilities What you bring to the role 3 to 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience ideally in a mix of high-volume national organization, Executive/Contingency Search and/or Corporate recruitment environments Undergraduate degree preferred Recruitment experience in a professional services environment would be considered an asset Strong ability for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience providing guidance to executive level Hiring Managers and handling expectations applicably Demonstrated use of effective and best in class sourcing and candidate generation techniques Strong ability and experience in prioritizing work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders Keys to your success: Passion for providing a stellar recruitment experience for the candidate and hiring manager Excellent communication skills with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation skills Our Values, The KPMG Way Integrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
