PURPOSE OF POSITION The Salesforce Business Analyst will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the Sales Cloud CRM system based on the various user group needs.

This role will own Sales Cloud CRM and is our internal system champion.

This role will engage with internal and external industry stakeholders, gather technical requirements and translate business needs into technical requirements documents that can be executed to build new functionality, improve existing features for multiple business groups with varying needs.

This role will also actively participate with the onboarding of our Partners.

As a Business Analyst practitioner, this role will also be engaged in other projects across the Organization in order to lead business discovery and translate these to technical requirements documents.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES User Management Sales Cloud CRM user account creation and management for both internal and external stakeholders; Conducts review of licenses and leads annual planning; Sales Cloud CRM Administration Experience configuring new functionality in Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM based on business requirements; Experience with the following, but an appetite to learn the following would also be considered: Process Builder Visual Flows Auto launched flows Workflows/Time based Workflows Workflow actions Email Alerts Email Templates Custom and standard objects Custom and standard fields Validation rules Lookup filters Page layouts Lighting pages Lightning apps List Views Experience communities Familiar with the AppExchange Apps i.e.: MailChimp, Conga, Campaign Monitor, etc; Salesforce Reporting and Dashboards Provide support and assistance to internal and external users with the development of their custom reports; Maintain a management folder structure of all such reports; Creating reports and dashboards on an ad-hoc basis and as part of planned projects; Data Management Owns the Salesforce Data Governance policy and ensures it is kept current and adopted; Maintain and manage data quality by following the organization’s Data Governance policy; Maintain and manage the organizations metadata structure; Perform mass data updates using exports, transformations in Excel ie: Demand Tools and DBAmp; Change Management Review, evaluate user Case requests for Sales Cloud; Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and opportunity; Review release documentation and identify wins and concerns each time Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM deploys a new release; Leverage deployment best practices including QA, UAT, Staging, and Validation; Leads the on-going training and on-boarding of new internal and external users; Maintains and owns the training documentation for the system; Collaboration & Documentation Collaborates with Salesforce contractors and/or agency Collaborates with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders Ensures all documentation for system fixes, enhancements, etc are thorough and kept current Business Analyst Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; Strong communication and articulation of ideas is required; Gathers requirements from business units and translates those for programmers and developers; Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation; Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities; Works on multiple projects as a project team member; and Serves as a liaison between the business community and I.T.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certified 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Administrator of enterprise systems including CRM, SFA, or ERP Experience partnering and building relationships with all levels of business teams across an organization Experience and knowledge of integrating with third parties and using third-party integration tools an asset Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven technical acumen to translate business requirements into functional design Excellent listening skills to fully understand requirements and pain points Excellent communication skills to communicate system and process changes to a variety of teams Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapid changes in scope to meet changing business needs Strong presentation skills with ability to prepare, deliver and present reports / results / findings to large groups of people Knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions Other Beneficial Assets 3 Years full-time Salesforce Administration experience and/or certified in Salesforce Administration Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information System, Engineering or equivalent training/experience Understanding of Apex and VisualForce Any other Salesforce certification such as Service Cloud, Social Studio, etc.
