job description What This Position is All About: The Senior Associate, Digital Product Onboarding is responsible for ensuring a superior customer shopping experience as a result of executing the online merchandising strategy for multiple categories of business.

They will lead the end to end product lifecycle for specific categories including the active management of vendor requests, the turn-in pipeline, accurate setup of products and ensuring category merchandising is reflective of the site merchandising strategy.

The position will be responsible for lifecycle reporting, managing customer and site support tickets, special projects and not on site prioritization.

They are also responsible for achieving topside sales plans, conversion goals, usability performance targets and corporate objectives.

Who Are You: Familiarity with item onboarding and site analytics tools (e.g., Product Information Management Tool, Omniture or Coremetrics) and with content management tools Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power Point) and the ability to quickly learn internal systems, processes and additional software/web-based applications Strong communication skills Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems Proven ability to function well in a collaborative environment Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team Ability to work effectively with and present to individuals at all levels Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities Self-motivated, resourceful with a creative mindset Keen attention to details You Also Have: Minimum 1 year experience in e-Commerce, retail site merchandising preferred Understanding of retail ecommerce landscape Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree As The Sr.

Associate, Digital Product Onboarding, you will: Work closely with our partners in India to execute tasks/projects and proactively lower the overall volume of items on the daily not on site Be responsible for life cycle reporting, merchant tickets, ICQA issues and new vendor onboarding Serve as the liaison between Buyers, Vendors, Ecomm Merch and Studio teams on life cycle related issues, exceptions and new processes Lead ideation and delivery of lifecycle projects Ensure thorough quality assurance of designated categories of responsibility Work with Site Operations to identify and reduce process or system inefficiencies Maintain daily workflow in partnership with the other item lifecycle teams Gain a thoroughly understand competitive landscape primarily focused on navigation and customer experience and make recommendations to incorporate into business Performance Measures/Outcomes (example: key metrics, turnover, retentions stats, etc.) Improved customer experience ratings, conversion metrics, reduced return rate Improved team quality metrics Timely and accurate execution of merchandise related content and assortments Your Life and Career at HBC: Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner
