In this role, you’ll support senior leaders and manage their day to day.

You’ll need a car to travel between locations from time to time; and there will be overtime on occasion but for the most part you’ll enjoy stability, work-life balance and a competitive compensation package.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an Executive Assistant for our client with locations in Burnaby and Port Moody.

In this role, you’ll support senior leaders and manage their day to day.

You’ll need a car to travel between locations from time to time; and there will be overtime on occasion, but for the most part you’ll enjoy stability, work-life balance and a competitive compensation package.

ABOUT THE POSITION Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling.

Email management and correspondence.

Responds to emails, phone calls and general inquiries on behalf of the President.

Assists with preparing presentations, memos and reports.

Takes meeting minutes, records action items and distributes in a timely manner.

Manage expenses and all travel.

Event planning (virtual for now).

Assists with research analysis and report generation.

High level, strategic ad hoc project work.

THE REQUIREMENTS 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant position supporting C level executives.

University degree or post-secondary diploma.

Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently.

Excellent communication skills.

Prior experience managing emails and responding on behalf of the executive.

Must have experience with complex calendar management.

Must be able to effectively partner with all levels of the business and be able to build relationships quickly with a diverse group of individuals.

Prior experience taking meeting minutes, and proven ability to follow through on action items.

Must be able to manage multiple ongoing projects and changing priorities.

The ability to exercise good judgment and be highly organized.

Intermediate computer skills are required, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Reliable vehicle to travel between locations.

COMPENSATION Annual salary $60,000
– $85,000 -depending on experience.
